CFCSA's educational programs offer something for everyone-whether you're curious about sustainable agriculture methods or looking for a culinary learning experience, we invite you to participate and broaden your horizons. Our programs are open to anyone in our community-you don't have to be a CSA member! Click on the links below to find out more.

July 10-14 -- Kids' Discovery WeekThis popular hands-on program is back for youngsters entering kindergarten through 6th grade. They'll enjoy nature-inspired arts and crafts, tend and taste the treasures grown in our fields, and play games with our animal friends on the farm. Morning, afternoon and full-day sessions available. Slots fill quickly!

See what's growing and learn about Colchester's sustainable practices. This is an exclusive opportunity to walk in the shoes of the apprentices learning from the master, farm manager Theresa Mycek.

Learn what it takes to get your weekly shares planted, cared for, and harvested. Early- evening tour led by our farm apprentices.

How can we make the tastes of summer linger all winter long? Learn tips and techniques about how to freeze, can, and pickle vegetables.

Learn about what makes soil "healthy," and how that can affect your growing from University of Maryland scientist and former Colchester board president Nevin Dawson.

Master Gardener Sabine Harvey leads a conversation about growing things! We'll meet at the Chestertown Library to discuss common practices, tips, sustainability and more, all for your backyard garden.
